Meet
the production team of Genesis!

|
| This is not Evan. |
|
(Writer/Producer) Evan Crump received an MFA
in Shakespeare and Rennaisance Literature in Performance from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, VA. As an undergraduate, he
was a Creative Writing (Poetry) major at the University of Maryland, College Park. He is a Washington, DC-area actor who has
performed with the Washington Shakespeare Company, the Maryland Shakespeare Festival, the American Century THeatre, The Kennedy
Center, and others. Writing remains an unquenchable passion in his life, however, and the themes of religion and mental illness
in this piece resonate strongly with him due to his upbringing. The only thing that winds him up as much as acting and writing
is Terrapin basketball.

(Director)John
C. Bailey is a proud native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and has been a member of the Washington, DC theatre community for over eleven
years. He has been acting professionally in television, film and theatre for over twenty-five years, is a Helen Hayes Award
nominee and a two-time winner of the Best Actor Award at the SOURCE Summer Festival of New Plays (pre-CDC years). He has also
been involved in the production of numerous television and film productions, as well as live events, most notably Sisterfaire
’98, a music, dance and theatrical arts performance benefit for Sistercare, Inc., serving battered and abused women
and their children in the Midlands of South Carolina. John received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in General Theatre with Acting Emphasis from the University of Oklahoma,
where he studied directing under Linda MacDonald and the legendary Judith Haskell. He went on to study acting at The American
Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and Shakespeare & Company in Lennox, Massachusetts. He continues to study film in
the esteemed Robert Christie Studio, Shakespeare under Helen Hayes nominee Marni Penning and contemporary acting under Helen
Hayes acting and directing nominee Lee Mikeska Gardner, who will serve as his directing mentor throughout the development
and rehearsal process of Genesis. John’s
directing philosophy involves taking the script, the actors, producing team and the audience further than where he found them,
and leaving them changed in some way. His hope is that Genesis will be a captivating, challenging and thought-provoking production
that will resonate with all involved and instigate dialogue, during the process of creation and following the performances.

team for this amazing work of art. Born in Manhattan, Pam has lived in New Jersey, Maine, Philadelphia, Germany, Michigan,
